Microsoft has launched its new Windows Phone operating 7.5 system (OS) called ‘Mango’ into the smartphone arena . It’s highly rich and dynamic features enables users to quickly find, connect and explore the content that they need the most.
The Windows Phone 7.5 operating system is considered as a major update for Windows based phones. Microsoft tried hard to give a tough competition to Apple and Google into the smartphone market . It is clean and clear and far from antiseptic Metro .
It has many amazing features like:
-Windows Phone 7.5 devices will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU i.e. new devices will use 8×55 or 7×30, while existing ones that use an 8×50 CPU will also be supported.
– It gives DirectX graphics hardware support with hardware acceleration for Direct3D.
-Minimum of 384MB of RAM, at least 4GB of flash memory.
– WVGA (800 x 480) display resolution, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 b / g support
-FM radio, Bluetooth and and many other advance features.
A new feature called Threads lets the user to glide between text, Windows Live Messenger, and Facebook chat within the same “conversation”. Mango adds long-awaited multitasking for power users such as road warriors. Now users can freely move between many applications and if they wish they can pick up again and resume from where they left off, no need to restart the app. Mango has added support for various rights management technologies mainly for security conscious enterprise customers .
